Metta Skincare Review

From Australia with love comes a skincare brand called Metta (which is known as an ancient style of meditation).  It is a brand born out of a philosophy which practices sense of belonging, pure connections with other beings and compassion.
Metta skincare was founded by Anca Grigoras’ life long passion for healthy living. Anca’s expertise comes from her extensive research on safe ingredients and studying at the School of Holistic Cosmetology under the guidance of world leading natural skincare formulators.
The following are the 3 products that are deserving of creating social media buzz:

Body Butter

Simple hand made 100% natural body butter housed is a *glass* jar!!  The texture of this body butter is solid but melts into the skin on contact. It contains rare certified organic Shea Nilotica Butter which is a grade A quality shea butter. (FYI not all shea butters are created equal)

Ingredients : Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Seed Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil* (contains linalyl acetate, linalool and limonene as naturally occurring components of lavender essential oil) * denotes certified organic ingredient

Simple yet effective on my skin and that’s where the love pours in. The aroma and the delicacy speaks volume to me.

Hand Balm

I can never have enough hand balms. Starting from my mom to my husband hand balms are the *it* thing in my family and I am known as the queen of natural body care products. Anyone with dry skin runs to me for help! Since I have added Metta hand balm into my body care collection I have become even more popular among my family.

This hand balm is my go to dry skin relief and I must admit it has generated a few fans already (ie my 5 yr old and 3yr old and even my mom). A beautiful creamy yellow texture (housed in a *glass* jar) that immediately melts into the skin giving my skin a subtle glow. It hydrates my skin instantly and softens any dry areas quickly.

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Beeswax*, Calendula Flowers*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil* (contains linalyl acetate, linalool and limonene as naturally occurring components of lavender essential oil)
* denotes certified organic ingredient

Lip Balm

Just like hand balms I must admit I have too many lip balms. But hey; I am not complaining. Cracked, dry, flaky skin is only visible on the skin of our hands but also on our lips as well. Especially if you wear lipsticks and lip liners you will need to take extra care of those lips (if they are prone to dryness). This lip balm works well on my lips as it hydrates and nourishes with all the 100% natural ingredients. (FYI this is also housed in a glass jar)

Ingredients: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Prunis Amygdalus Dulcis (Almond) Oil*, Beeswax*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Calendula Flowers*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil* (contains linalyl acetate, linalool and limonene as naturally occurring components of lavender essential oil)
* denotes certified organic ingredient

If you use Metta then rest assure you are using safe and useful ingredients on yourself. I give Metta huge credit not only for making great products but also for their awesome eco friendly packaging. Healthy body starts with healthy planet.
